PERSONAL TRAINING

SRC staff are ready to perform a range of fitness assessments to determine your body mass index, heart rate, blood pressure, and aerobic fitness level. In addition, wellness information is offered to help you stay healthy while performing to the best of your abilities.

Each one-on-one appointment is conducted by a Wellness Trainer and is personalized to incorporate your specific goals, interests and needs.

Each session is 55 minutes. Sign up at the front desk.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION LESSONS

SRC members who are interested in conducting private lessons with a certified instructor can purchase packages as an affordable rate. Private lessons are available in the following formats: Yoga, Mat Pilates, Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chair, Dance, TRX®, or Boxing. Sign up at the front desk.

NUTRITION COUNSELING

If you have nutritional concerns that you'd like to address, our Peer Nutrition Counselors (PNCs) are here to help. Our PNCs provide free one-on-one nutrition counseling for dietary analyses and to discuss weight concerns, healthy eating on campus, how to read food labels, eating well on a tight budget, or any dietary questions you have. Your first appointment will be one hour long and all other follow-up appointments will last thirty minutes.

Stop by the Fitness Desk in the Bryan Green Matador Training Zone or call 818-677-5492 to arrange your appointment.


RESERVATIONS

To reserve a room for yourself while at the SRC, visit USU Reservations and Event Services (located down the walkway toward the USU).

LOCKERS

Need a spot to store your gear while you work out? The SRC provides secure lockers for your personal use so you can hit the gym knowing your belongings are safe! Full size, quarter size, half size, and ADA (reserved for those that meet qualifications) half size lockers are available for day use in the locker rooms on a first come, first serve basis. All full-size lockers are for day use only. Lockers are available for rent on a term basis for members with a term membership. Please see the full list of rules and regulations for lockers below.

TOWELS

Towels are required in all Fitness Zones but don’t worry, the SRC has got you covered! Workout size towels are available free of charge, just pick one up at the Pro Shop or any of the Fitness Zone counters. Towel service is available for pool/shower-size towels for a small fee. Enrollment into the towel service can be done at the Membership Services Desk or the Pro Shop. Towel service is available on a term basis for members with a term membership. Please see the full list of rules and regulations for towels below.

ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility accommodation can be found in all locations within the SRC, from the Studios, to the bleacher seating of the Red Ring Courts, all three training zones, the locker rooms, and the Rec Pool. Detailed list of locations and specific equipment with accessibility.
